Amber Family History, Inc. is a family history company dedicated to telling your story – we digitize your photos and record your stories, compiling it all into a secure online archive, complete with audio and video recordings, writing, scanned photos and documents, and much more. Accessible by generations to come, the online archive is a modern version of the ubiquitous box of photos and papers that every family has – passed down through generations, it is a valuable repository of memories.
Each project is personally supervised by AFH’s founder, an in-house expert who will guide you through every step of your project, and we work one-on-one with our customers at their pace. The process of creating your family history begins with a free one-hour consultation, where we discuss the project and goals, identify the story or stories to be told, and create a blueprint for the project. Using a unique oral history-based storytelling method, Amber Family History gives our customers flexibility in telling their story, enabling us to collect stories from every perspective and create a more personal product. As part of our process, we digitize and enhance old photos and videos, help customers find a narrative linking past to present, and, on customer request, can research the historical environment of recorded events and make family trees.
